MEET SAMANTHA RESER

BIOGRAPHY

Samantha Reser is completing her degree as an MFA student studying Theatre for Young Audiences at UCF. Samantha received her BFA in Theatre for Young Audiences with a minor in Directing from Oklahoma City University, and has previous teaching artist experience in theatres such as Lake Dillon Theatre Company, Metro Theater Company, Lexington Children’s Theatre, Rocky Mountain Theatre for Kids, Hartford Stage, Oklahoma Children’s Theatre, and the Brass Ring. She is dedicated to pursuing a career in children’s theatre because she believes in the power of using theatre to teach about empathy, conflict resolution, and confidence. 
Using experience as a teacher, director, actor, and musician, Samantha Reser’s mission is to create theatre that is accessible for youth regardless of financial status, ability, or previous theatre experience. She strives to teach empathy for others by using fundamental acting techniques and creative play. She believes achieving this goal will create a kinder, more sympathetic world, one theatrical experience at a time.
